Today I hopped over to Project Nursery and (as usual) was smitten with more than one nursery in their finalists for October “Room of the Month“.

Two in particular not only spoke well to the growing (and already somewhat established) trend of grey in nursery design and decor but also pulled together unique and beautiful elements for finished rooms that shine!

My favorite elements in the room? The silver dots on the wall, giant leather elephant, and custom painting above the changing table.

Today we continue our week of baby-gear love, focusing on finding the perfect products for each style of mommyhood. Does a finding a good deal make your heart pitter-patter? If so, you just might be a {budget mama}. Be sure to check out yesterday’s post on fab gear for the budget savvy mama here!

Are words like ‘organic’ & ‘eco-friendly’ part of your daily vocabulary? Yes? Well my earth-saving {green mama}, today’s gear choices are all about you (+ baby)!

Now, obviously most people are going to fall into a combination of lifestyle categories which brings up an important point; while you are shopping for baby and even putting together your registry don’t make a decision on a product simply because it fits the criteria you have put together for yourself, make sure it is smart for your overall lifestyle and needs too.

For example: Your nose for a good deal leads you directly to a small, lightweight stroller for a great price – plus, it’s cute! But – if you’re also an active mama who wants to take the little one on runs with you, this won’t be practical at all. Opt for the slightly more expensive jogging stroller and find another item to save on or skip all together.
