closing up shop

To say it’s been quiet here on the blog lately would be an understatement. I can hardly believe it’s been since before Christmas when I posted last! There are a lot of reasons for it… in part, simply because life outside of the blog just got busier, plain and simple.

I’ve taken this little break as a chance to think about the direction Bella Bambini is going and decide what comes next. After much reflection, I have decided it is time for Bella Bambini to close up shop. I’ve learned so much in the last two and a half years, made some friends, and shared lots of inspiration but I think what this blog was once intended to be has run it’s course.

That said — often in life when one thing ends, another is beginning and such is the case here. I will be launching a new blog in the near future (hopefully less than a month!) called “Mini Savvy Chic“. It will take some of my favorite parts of Bella Bambini including celebrating style savvy for the littlest people in your lives & fabulous design meant just for them + a few new exciting additions.

I appreciate so very much all of the love & support you’ve given Bella Bambini and hope you will join me in this newest blogging adventure. I will be sure to post updates here on Bella Bambini until the new site is officially up and running. If you have any questions or ideas in the meantime, please let me know. Thank you again, it’s been an adventure!

{lines we love} bugaboo chameleon 3

Bugaboo is certainly no newcomer to being known as one of the best strollers around, a favorite of mamas everywhere. Although my personal favorite is the Bugaboo ‘Bee’ (I love the All Black special edition), the newest addition to the Bugaboo family deserves mentioning; an update to the original that made a big splash in the stroller world, the ‘Chameleon’.

Continuing to boast all the features that made this beauty a fast favorite, the Chameleon3 comes packed with plenty of  new features and upgrades again making it a contender for the best of the best!

Featured above L to R, top to bottom in pictures: A smooth city ride. Modular 3-in-1 design. Bassinet w/matress. For rough terrain. For snow. Carseat adaptable. Self-standing seat & bassinet. Rain cover. Compact modular fold.

Check out Bugaboo for more info about the Chameleon 3 and all of their other great strollers!

mid-century {nursery} inspiration

In search of inspiration for our home projects, it’s no surprise that my love of mid-century modern furniture & architecture have been slowly taking over my pinterest boards. Taking a cue from our future DIY updates around the house, I pulled together a little mid-century inspiration for a fabulous nursery.

mobile. art. lighting. console. rocker. rug. crib (try painting the IKEA Singlar crib with a laquer red for a DIY low-cost option!). Blankets 1 & 2. Sheepskin.
