reader’s favorites {cloth diapers}

When we say that cloth diapers aren’t what they used to be, we mean it! No more diaper pins or folding or the need for diaper service. They come in a rainbow of colors and styles, a variety of closures from Velcro to snaps. Some even convert to fit babies from 8lbs to 35lbs! With all the styles out there, cloth diapering is an option that’s easier than ever.

Here are three brands that made our readers favorites list: bumGenius, gDiapers & FuzziBunz.

Some of the reasons these made the top 3 list?

bumGenius: their 4.0 version fits babies from 8lbs to 35 making only one size diaper necessary… ever! They are easy to wash, fit well, wear well, and come in a variety of colors all with reusable inserts. If you’re buying directly from bumGenius, buy 5 get 1 free.

Fuzzibunz: another awesome one-size diaper, fits 10lbs – 35lbs and comes in awesome bright colors. Also – now comes with a lifetime warranty! If you’re buying directly from Fuzzibunz, buy 6 get 1 free.

gDiapers: Come in S, M, L. gDiapers is one of the few to offer compostable & flushable inserts in an attempt to make cloth diapering as easy as possible. Also – not as bulky as some of the other cloth brands on the market. In addition to fabulous colors and patterns, they also offer some specialty styles with embellishments such as ruffles!

{rooms in every color of the rainbow} fuschia

In our series of monochromatic nursery inspiration boards the last is most certainly not the least. Putting together this room of saturated shades I went back and forth between plum magenta, and plain old barbie pink. It didn’t take long to settle on a hue of fuschia that packs quite a punch!

rooms in every color of the rainbow {chartreuse}

Instead of featuring seperate yellow & green rooms I decided to combine the two for a room in my absolute favorite shade of the season, chartreuse! This bold color packs a punch in our 3rd inspiration board of the week. Tip: If you’re nervous about a vibrant color taking over your space, temper it with clean lines and neutrals for balance like the black & white in this room!

rooms in every color of the rainbow {tangerine}

Day 2 of a week exploring monochromatic rooms in all colors of the rainbow focuses on a fabulous shade of orange somewhere between coral & tangerine.

Layering patterns and shades of the same color can serve to create a room that is both creative and cohesive. To get the look of this citrus-saturated room check out the details below:
