Even little girls get the blues sometimes! If parents say adamently that they do NOT want a pink nursery for their little girl, that doesn’t automatically mean they don’t want it to be feminine. So – today our nursery inspiration is a feminine little girly room done all in shades of blue!
As a bonus – this is also an {under $600} room, the pieces included totaling at just $436.96!
curtains: Urban Outfitters ($49) lighting: Urban Outfitters ($39) crib: IKEA ($80) bedding: Overstock.com ($101) additional accessories: changing pad cover, Etsy ($28) & floor pillow, Urban Outfitters ($40) dresser: IKEA, ($100)
The damask pattern wall pictured above is featured on Anthropologie.com. To get the look, I would recommend a large-scale wall stencil – or – if wall stencils aren’t your thing, mount fabric in large frames to mimic wall paneling. Try fabric like this (pictured left) from spoonflower.com to bring a few accent colors into the room.
Also – if you haven’t entered the giveaway for the sweet little Ghana t-shirt c/o Ground Swell, you’re in luck as the entry deadline has been extended!!! Leave a comment here to enter and the winner will be announced on Friday.
