The combination of the turquoise and coral anchored with gray keeps it fresh, bright, and beautiful while still gender-neutral and fun. In order to balance a boy/girl nursery without it being blase and boring, it is important to use a mix of masculine and feminine pieces; for example: the stark & modern fish mobile contrasted with the floral throw pillow.
