My grandfather always told me that I should love going to work every day… and if you find something you love doing, it won’t ever feel like work. Taking his advice, I’ve decided to make the leap into entrepreneurship and start my own business. Combining a love of design, fashion, styling, and babies Bella Bambini Design was born; a baby planning company aimed at helping expectant parents in the journey leading up to bringing home baby.
I got the idea while talking with a girlfriend who had just found out she was pregnant. It was a complete surprise! As any first-time parent, she had a million questions and concerns. As I listened and offered my advice she asked (only partially joking), “Can I hire you?!” That’s when it hit me – she should!
The goal I have for Bella Bambini Design is to help with all the exciting steps on the way to baby’s arrival. This includes nursery planning and design, maternity styling (looking fabulous is hard enough even without a rapidly changing body!), custom registries, baby gear consulting, and shower planning among other things. I hope for this blog to be a way of sharing the process as well as some great ideas and experiences along the way.
